Parents of the aggressor children
They knew everything
Unfortunately, the parents of the children who bullied Alina in this story appear in an exclusively negative light. Gymnasium No. 5 in Bryansk is a prestigious educational institution, and the children of rather pretentious people study there. People who achieved their high positions in society during the era of wild capitalism in Russia.
And, as you understand, not through "kindness and deep honesty." And their children are the same. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
They were perfectly aware that their offspring were having fun by tormenting their classmate. There is ample evidence of this.
They also knew that there was an aggressive girl in the class who was instigating the bullying. Incidentally, the nickname "black sheep" was not invented by journalists, but by the parents of Alina's classmates, see the section "Active participants in the bullying".
When the bullying reached a critical point, the class teacher was forced to organize a meeting. The teacher herself believed that the issue had already been resolved.
"According to the class teacher, last spring Alina and a classmate (the instigator) had a conflict: the teachers talked to the girls and their parents, and, according to the teacher, the quarrel was quickly forgotten."

However, according to many people familiar with the situation, the reconciliation was only for show. In reality, after the meeting with the parents, the instigator did not calm down and:
"she started to turn the children against Alina even more," and "two months ago, the teachers summoned the children's parents and tried to resolve the situation, but failed," the publication states.

“The last time she ‘clashed’ with a classmate was sometime last spring. The conflict was resolved after a conversation with the girls' parents. However, people familiar with the situation claim that the girl continued to be bullied.”
More details are available in the "Bullying by classmates" section.
Apparently, the parents of the aggressors didn't really object to their children asserting themselves at the expense of another child's broken psyche. The main thing was that their own children were not being bothered. Here are just a few of the dozens of testimonies:

Behavior immediately after the tragedy
Since the shooting at the gymnasium had a great public resonance in Russia and abroad, many parents were gripped by fear. If the case were truly investigated honestly, they would at least face indelible shame in the small town where they live.
Initially, they wanted to essentially buy their way out of the situation with the parents of the bullied girl who committed suicide. They tried to give money to Alina's family under the plausible pretext of "for the funeral."
"We can't get in touch with her mother; she doesn't open the door. She doesn't answer the phone. It's understandable what state she's in. But the parents of Anya's classmates want to say that there is no aggression towards the family on their part. They even collected money for the funeral, but they don't know how to give it to them."

The girl brought a gun to school to shoot their children. And if we believe their statements, no one in the class had offended Alina, meaning she did it without any reason.
But they show no aggression towards the shooter's family. Moreover, they even want to GIVE THEM MONEY!!! Under the formal pretext of paying for the funeral.
Do you believe this nonsense?
What is striking is their desire to conceal what happened in every possible way and not publish anything in the media. But what is there to hide if, as they claim, their children are not to blame?
More details about this are described in the section "General information about the tragedy; Strangeness in the behavior of the classmates' parents".
The authorities sided with the parents of the aggressive children.
When the parents of the classmates realized that the authorities had unequivocally sided with them (see the section "Concealing the truth by the authorities"), their attitude towards Alina's family changed dramatically. More precisely, they dropped their mask of piety and showed everyone the beastly grin they had always had.
The desire to give money suddenly changed to a desire to demand huge compensation through the courts (see the section "Trials against the Afanaskin family").
Forgetting everything like a nightmare
The parents' behavior after the tragedy was extremely cynical. In order to erase unpleasant memories from their lives, the entire class was sent to the prestigious Artek resort, naturally at state expense. Judging by the photograph, the active participants in the bullying, along with the instigator, also went there (see the section "Active participants in the bullying").

After graduating from the 9th grade in 2025, a booklet was published at the initiative of the parents. In it, the class where the tragedy occurred was presented as the best and most close-knit. The fact that a monstrous tragedy occurred with the actual complicity and silent consent of the entire class was simply ignored. Here are some slides from the booklet created by the parents:

Captions under the slides: "the friendliest," "the most loving of their mothers," "the most wonderful," "the most romantic," "the sunniest," "the most well-traveled," "the most curious," "the most courageous," "the strongest," and even "the hungriest" and "the snowiest."
It's a pity that slides with the captions "the kindest," "the most empathetic," and "the most sensitive" were not included.
A display was created in the classroom explaining the origin of all the students' names. Among the photographs, neither Alina's nor her sister Dasha's pictures are present. Although Dasha studied in the same class for eight years and, as reported, had friends. She knew nothing about her sister's plans and were never accused of anything. Having survived a terrible tragedy, she undoubtedly needed moral support. Nevertheless, the "friendly class" preferred to forget about her too. As if the twin sisters had never studied in that class. Because it was easier to forget everything "like a nightmare."

Parents of Kira Koroleva
We have already written about the instigator of the bullying. The family she grew up in was not well-off. Her father had many problems with the law, in particular, he did not pay alimony for the support of his children.

Note: "Article 157, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (CC RF) concerns repeated non-payment of child support or support for disabled parents when there is a real possibility to pay, after the person has already been subjected to administrative punishment for the same offense."
As we can see, the two aggressive girls had identical problems in their families; even the criminal article under which their fathers were prosecuted is the same. This likely brought the aggressors even closer together and turned them against Alina Afanaskina, who grew up in a complete, traditional family.
