Reasons for concealing the truth
The case of the shooting at Gymnasium No. 5 does not contain any state or military secrets. And it has nothing to do with politics. So why are all the officials so stubbornly trying to hide the truth?
Formally, this is explained by the need to protect the rights of children, or more precisely, aggressive children. No one particularly protected the quiet and kind Alina. The reasons given include the desire to avoid post-traumatic stress disorder, the impossibility of disclosing personal data of minors (although everyone in Gymnasium No. 5 and Bryansk already knows them), and so on.
However, the real reason for the silence is different. The shooting at the gymnasium, like a litmus test, demonstrated to everyone the catastrophic decline in professional standards and the complete moral and ethical degradation of modern Russian society. And this is true at almost all levels and in all spheres.
"The problems that suddenly surfaced and came to light, to the horror of many, after the December shooting at the gymnasium," - this is how the Bryansk Grumbler newspaper wrote about it.

Let's try to briefly list them:
Most of the teachers are older women, as energetic people do not want to work in Russian schools due to low salaries and low social status. These teachers are not even able to recognize serious problems in time, such as developmental peculiarities of some children or bullying. They don't know how to solve these problems at all and don't really want to.
Teachers have no real leverage over aggressive children and their parents. The only thing they can do is call them in for a talk. However, the parents themselves, who grew up in a brutal time of property redistribution in Russia, are convinced that everything in life can only be achieved by force, and that "the weak are beaten," and this is right, because "they don't know how to stand up for themselves." A similar atmosphere prevails in their families.
The modern generation of Russian children, raised on ideas of violence, permissiveness, and a lack of ideals, is almost completely devoid of empathy. They understand only real force and power over themselves. And that is precisely what teachers lack.
The security system in educational institutions is extremely ineffective. Low salaries, lack of necessary equipment, and a negligent attitude. This was demonstrated not only by the tragedy in Bryansk, but also by many subsequent acts of aggression in several Russian schools.
Unwilling and unable to solve these problems, many schools simply conceal all information about bullying, school conflicts, and other acts of violence. There is currently no effective methodology for dealing with such cases in Russia. Even the Prosecutor General (at the time of this article's publication) Igor Krasnov was forced to admit this. Moreover, this publication was specifically dedicated to the tragedy in the Bryansk gymnasium.

Medical assistance to the victims was provided with a significant delay; the ambulance took approximately 45 minutes to arrive (see the "General information about the tragedy" section). This is despite Bryansk being a regional center, and the district where the gymnasium is located being considered prestigious. If the tragedy had occurred in a less significant settlement, the number of children who survived the shooting could have been smaller.
Local authorities exerted and continue to exert unacceptable pressure in democratic countries on the investigation, the press, and all persons involved in the case, essentially imposing their absurd version of "recruitment by enemies." This is being done to serve short-term political interests. More details on this can be found in the "Concealing the truth by the authorities" section.
However, since everyone in Bryansk, including police officers and gymnasium students, knows the real reason for the tragedy, this pressure from the authorities has the opposite effect and completely destroys the children's psyche, convincing them that they must get used to living in constant lies.
